Local company donates $8,000
A local company, wishing to remain
anonymous, graciously donated $8,000
to the Rising Stars Soccer Club.
The company recognizes the effort we
are pursuing for the betterment of
activities for our youths.
Soon, RSSC will announce
plans for our third phase of growth.
We're sure the community will find
this plan both exciting and
beneficial to the Mohawk Valley.
Schedules on this website can be
more current than those posted at
the sports center.
Red
Bulls Summer Camp
This is coming up fast, week of July
19th, and we expect this to fill up
quickly. This year we also are
promoting a team camp. The
coach registers a team and a Red
Bulls trainer is assigned to the
team for the entire week. We
also plan to hold a "friendly"
tournament between teams at the
conclusion of the camp. Each
team camp is to provide 13-16
players, host the coach, and obtain
their own field for practice.
Team discounts are available.

House Rules
Revised.
To
Note:
A
team, in a lower division, may have
at a maximum 3 players of any upper
division team of the same age group.
This policy will be strictly
enforced. Any team found in
violation will forfeit all of their
games.
This rule is and has been in effect.
We simply want to ensure
clarification. Due to safety,
distractions, and liability, the taking
of pictures or video within the
playing area side of the net during
a game is prohibited.

We do our best
to partition the teams
evenly and fairly promoting
good competitive play for
all. League
composition is adjusted
after the first session with
a minimum of the winner of
the Black league moving up
to Gold and the last place
team of Gold moving to
Black. Thank you for
your understanding and
cooperation. |

Inclement Weather Policy:
It is the policy of the Rising Stars
Sports Center to provide an opened
facility even in inclement weather.
We plan not to close unless the county
declares a state of emergency. All
schedules and referee assignments remain
intact during inclement weather.
We make every effort to accommodate
changes, however, scheduling is very
constrained. It is the
responsibility of coaches and players to
decide participation.
The new field area is also developed
to support additional public events,
seminars, and shows with its own
entry. If you are planning an
event and need room,
contact Shari. 336-0861 |
The Rising
Stars Soccer Club, a not for profit
501(c)(3) organization, want to thank
everyone involved that made this
possible. This
project would not have completed
without the support of members,
community leaders,
GPO
Credit Federal Union,
Visions Federal Credit Union,
The Community Foundation of Oneida &
Herkimer County,
Utica National Group Foundation, Mr. Gene Romano, Mr.
John Romano and
The Fountainhead Group,
Mr. Tim Reed and
ECR International,
Eversan, Celia Construction, and a small
group of people that wouldn't give up.
Check out the
building
project page for the ongoing story.
We are non-profit
and volunteers
but that does not mean costless.
Operations and maintenance of the
facility and sponsoring/hosting games
and practices comes at an expense.
To aid in defraying the costs we have
developed a tax deductible
"Banner" program
where a banner, typically 4'X8', is hung
and displayed showing your commitment to
the ideals of ensuring our children
always have a place to play. |
